You don’t seem to understand the difference between an insult and libel. It’s one thing to mock someone, it’s another to outright lie about them and then encourage the dissemination of that lie.
Libel is not about expressing an opinion on someone’s character or behavior. It’s making a statement that’s presented as fact that is completely untrue and injurious to someone’s character or business.
Seriously, all you’re doing is exposing the fact that you’re ignorant and really have no busines chiming in on the subject.

I don’t know how it works in the US but Libel is a civil matter where I am from. That means you are seeking damages. The way I see it you would seek damages because:
(1) You have lost money
(2) Your feelings are hurt or you are being kept up at night
(3) You are generally American

If his say, father in law, a hypothetical black man, were to find out his white, shaven headed son in law was a member of a racist hate group, and holy crap that shave-headed prison gaurd is probly one too! Allright I’ll put it more constructively: I don’t believe it is reasonable or realistic in this case to deal in that particular example of hypothetical damage. Maybe that’s me being a little too pragmatic, but I don’t think a black dude is going to go postal in his front yard so thats why I have treated it as trivial. Maybe I’m saying that all damage from this incident will remain hypothetical.
I’ve made my opinion obvious that I think no real damage will result from this and to pursue it further would really be an excerise in either being vindictive or simply feeling hardcore.
But worse still is ranting on for 14 pages about it when you probably won’t actually sue anybody…

A.) You have no idea what I will or won’t do, especially considering you’re not privy to the current discussions involving possible courses of action in pursuing this.
B.) I’m not going to go into detail and explain to you the various damages that can result from being libeled in such a manner as I have. You likely wouldn’t understand them because I doubt you’ve attained any sort of status in your own life or career as would matter if your reputation was attacked. (And I’ll invite you to prove me wrong on this). But considering that I have a rather full life that doesn’t involve this site, being libeled can and will have a real effect, especially considering my name is at the bottom of every page on this website.
C.) The primary intent of persuing a libel suit is to get the libelous content removed. Do you seriously think I’d want to visit Vicksburg, MS for any other reason?
D.) As it is I’m splitting this derail attempt off of the main thread and moving it to Trollshido where it belongs. And I won’t ask you again to demonstrate your intention of participating in the discussions here by correcting your style field with something that reflects your involvement in the martial arts.
