And I provide firearms training gear to some of the local armed professionals.
And, I am licensed to teach the class required by the State to apply for a concealed carry permit.

I own a shotgun. That was left to me by my grandfather. A 12 gauge 1986 Remington 870 Wingmaster with some ornamental carving on the stock. Has a smooth and rifled barrel. That is my favourite.
But yes handguns can only be used at the range or on your own property(only specific kinda of property with specific safety controls in place) currently and if not used at the range or on your own property. Must be kept locked up in their carrying case or a safe. There is so much red tape I wouldn’t want the hassel of owning a handgun unless I lived in the far north. I think there is an exception past the 60th parallel where you can carry one for polar bear protection.

What was your experience like shooting a .50 rifle?
The Remington 870 in 12 gauge was my first shotgun as an adult.
I sold it at one point, one of the very few guns I have sold.
I don’t remember why I sold it, as it was nearly 30 years ago, when I did.
They are good shotguns.
It’s cool yours has some ornamental carving.
I tend to like that kind of thing, especially on European triple, quadruple, and quintuple barrel long guns.
There is very little bullet drop. Seriously though, I only shot a few rounds of my ex father in-law’s rifle. Never shot the round in the military.
