Groin Strikes, eye gouges, and other maiming techniques in self defense

Getting hit in the groin just pisses me off, and I’ve been hit there hard. In a real fight, most shots just wake me up or piss me off, even very good ones. I don’t get into fights lightly, but when I do, I don’t feel much pain. You want to get me to stop fighting, you either need to knock me out, choke me out, severely incapacitate me. or run away.

During friendly sparring, competitions, and other contact sports, I’ve fought through broken ribs, broken hands, concussions, and other injuries that some (misinformed) people would consider fight-enders. Sure, the next day I’d wake up not being able to walk, breathe, or use my hands. But that didn’t stop me when the adrenaline was still going.

I think that this kind of adrenaline rush/feel no pain is common amongst many athletes and fighters during times of competitive duress. It’s comical how much some non-athlete “martial artists” think that some minor little dirty trick will stop someone so easily. It just isn’t so.

In reality, when the nut-shot, eye-gouge, or other dirty trick fails, you’ll only succeed in bringing out the worst intentions in your opponent, even if they had seen the conflict as a clean fight from the outset. You just escalated it, so you’d better be sure that your shit works.
I know exactly what you are saying and you are wrong. I’ve seen, watched, and witnessed more fights stopped with a punch to the jaw, solar plexus, or liver than groin shots.

Yes, this is from street fights to competition before you raise that possibility.
Sorry you will have to explain me, do you mean groin shots are a minority of “fight stoppers” because are hard, rare of else or do you mean that you have witnessed that people can still fight after receiving them ?
You know this from experience? What possibilities are you refering to?
Im saying this from experience I have seen many times during sparring and fighting people that can take knees to solar plexus and kicks to the ribs getting down to the floor after a kick to the groin that wouldnt take them dowm if landed in the chest or abdomen. Also I have gotten a few myself and have saw people getting sucker punched in the groin falling to the ground
Thats in my limited experience

Sorry im a n00b and make a lot of posts
The posibilities I mean are for example having your oponente in front of you and having his guard up yet giving you a clear kick to the groin

lol… You saw someone get sucker punched in the groin? It doesn’t make a difference if it’s a sucker punch. I’ve seen a 14 year old kid KO a grown ass man with a sucker punch, a girl KO an amatuer fighter with one, a feeble old man KO two people with one, and to many other examples of just regular people using them. A buddy of mine got permanent brain damage from a sucker punch.

What you’ve seen during sparring is completely null.

If you have honestly seen someone end a fight with a groin kick then I have to question what else happened in the fight or how long ago this fight was. Maybe a middle schooler would colapse from groin kick… Otherwise, you would pretty much have to rupture a testicle to stop someone with a groin kick, and to do that, they would practically have to be naked, or at least have their balls exposed. Anything else is almost garuanteed to piss off whoever gets kicked and esculate the violence. Never esculate the level of violence in a fight your losing, and if you need to go for the balls, you’re most likely losing.

I have only ever seen 1 example of a fight won by groin attack. A buddy of mine was beating the shit of this cocky little troll, got a full mount and started raining on him. Then the dude reached up in his boxer and grabbed on to his sack with both hands. He held on so tight he was actually hanging off the ground by them. My buddy screamed out "he’s got mah balls!’ and slowly got pulled to the ground. The only reason that worked was because the guy was able to get a direct grip on his naked sack. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen some one take a nut shot, get pissed, then wreck and seriously injure the one who did it. I think the later is the common experience you will hear from the people here.

I have see it during training sometimes a shorter person vs a tall person the shorter one will when trying to kick the other in the abdomen miss when the tall tries to dodge and get hit and go to the ground

Oh just stop. He is tailoring his argument to parrot what has already been said concerning the groin strikes.

I couldn’t help it, I immediately thought of Stiffler doing the Bangkok joke in American Wedding.

lol, ive made limited observations of a phenonema(sp) which is already accepted that occurs sometimes or even often, and based on my limited observations I contend that it always happens.

About 40 seconds in.

Now the knee to the nuts worked. But it was also backed up by solid fighting basics.

And I did not fall to the floor.

There’s a very logical reason for that. It’s called faggotry. People who go down off nut shots are the kind of people who stop training if they puke.

Also, Greg’s rather sweet vid highlights this precisely. He caught a knee square to the nuts, yet did not go down, as his faggotry levels are in the minus.
