Good fight
Still incredibly impressive credentials.
Re:bullshit
[quote=NoTeefa;2365415]my understanding is that they both weighed in at 145 lbs for that fight. This is the first time I’ve heard otherwise. (there certainly isn’t a visible difference in weight, both fighters look lean, and about the same size)
Also, Aaron Macomber jiu-jitsu skills are severly lacking to non existent, especially back when that fight took place. So yea, I call bullshit on the weight difference and the pulling guard 10 seconds into the fight.
Thank you! So Kina did compete at the 2008 olympics for American Samoa, however he did not medal. The problem is, Perekina Peneuta is not showing up anywhere on the results page which shows the top 20…Are these the full results? 20 competitors in each division?

Anyone who knew Mikey and helped him train for his fight, which I had taken apart of, knew his gameplan. Punch Aaron in the face and take him down then tap him out. And thats EXACTLY what happened. Mikey went out and threw the first punches. Then took him down. Aaron had made deragatory comments about Jiu Jitsu and Mikey showed him some of our BJJ. They are good friends now. Aaron will tell you he was much more than 135.
Also, Mikey’s first opponent backed out when he first cut to 135.
Learn the facts first.
And of course if anyone is interested the image from Mproctor shows the seminar coming up with Marcello C. Montiero!!! Join us!!!

Nope, the MABS thread is not going to turn into students vs bullshido.
I have been looking at schools in the pierce county area and stumbled across gamebred online. I have started fighting much more seriously in this recent deployment to iraq and am growing really passionate for the challenge. So I decided that I would email them and of course being new to MMA and BJJ I am sure my questions were newbish as hell but Mike was more than courteous and quick about answering me back and giving me any info i needed. I was relived when the previous thread about him was cleared up because he seems like a very patient and down to earth person. i will be training at gamebred as soon as I get back stateside and I will be checking back in here to let everyone know how it goes.
Really? A ban is not clearing anything up.
??? I may seem a lil slow here but what do you mean? Who/what got banned and why?
sorry I must have missed something.
