Fragile Masculinity: The Thread

You technically still need hair to qualify.

I’ve got hair. All over. Some of it is even still ginger.

Can’t be arsed to find them again.

Then stop spouting bullshit until you can be arsed.

In the meantime…

Statement from Dr. Seuss Enterprises

March 2, 2021

Today, on Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, Dr. Seuss Enterprises celebrates reading and also our mission of supporting all children and families with messages of hope, inspiration, inclusion, and friendship.

We are committed to action. To that end, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, working with a panel of experts, including educators, reviewed our catalog of titles and made the decision last year to cease publication and licensing of the following titles: And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street , If I Ran the Zoo , McElligot’s Pool , On Beyond Zebra! , Scrambled Eggs Super! , and The Cat’s Quizzer . These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong.

Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’s catalog represents and supports all communities and families.

That’s nice, thanks for sharing.

Prove it.

This is Bullshido.

Duly noted. I am keenly aware of the cancel-cultural revolution going on and the bag of mixed nuts who are fueling it. It’s only half of the story though.

This is being framed by certain conserv-o-tainment talking heads as ‘liberals are communists who hate freedom’ just like liberal talking heads are framing this as “conservatives are nazi morons”.

Both parties are full of idiots but despite the obnoxiousness of the Bernie Bro set and how disgusted I am at Bernie’s populist demagogury, the populist demogogues who recently went full traitor and the cowards who are presently capitulating to them disgust me more.

The primary reason liberals disgust me off is no longer their naivete regarding statism. It’s their inability to muster an adequate defense of the union even with full executive power.

The FBI needs to go full J. Edgar Hoover and the state department needs to remember we still have access to Guantanamo Bay. They need to start thinking about our situation with Russia and China as a war now because the longer they play softball with the cunts of the Kremlin and Tianamen Square the more likely it will be a reality.

Obama’s saint routine is just as counterproductive as Trump’s phony patriotism. We need to tear those commie pieces of shit apart at every level and treat their domestic collaborators as the traitorous spies and enemies of the state that they are. Xi and Putin both are signalling across the board that they fully intend to wage a hot expansionary war with the united states.

Edit: Unfortunately, both political parties are too busy screaming idiot slogans at each other and self congratlating about being a bunch of serial lying POS to hear the god damn fire alarm.

Can you explain what you mean here?

+++News Flash+++ Russia are now Capitalists comrade, though it doesn’t seemed to have made the world a better place

They’re still god damn commies in all the ways that matter. Stalin and Mao never gave a single rat fuck about Marx.

In the case of Russia, the ideology is not the problem

In fact Capitalism has given Russia “democratic” cover to behave in the same way as they did under the Soviet system, and the Imperial one before that

Similarly, China would likely be ruled by a Capitslist dictator because that is what their history has taught us, and a truly democratic China would fall apart under it’s own weight

Perhaps free your self of the Capitalists/Communist mind set and perhaps view it as Democratic/Autocratic

Is taking an imaginary censorious freakout about children’s books and morphing it into an incoherent equivocating bloodthirsty rant about Communism an example of fragile masculinity?

Nah, that’s just typical tread drift around here.

I’m not bloodthirsty. I’m paying attention.

LOL, sure, big fella…

And who has been setting that up for years, right? And executing the plan?

We are in sociocide. There is a section of the Forums that is for serious discussion, and that gets moderated.

I should know, I’ve started topics there and had them moderated several times when things go awry.

Honestly have we determined what the rules for Sociocide are since blowing out Sociocide.com and rebooting it here?

I know in Shidoposting pretty much anything goes as long as it’s SFW and legal, but this section is more for culture war stuff, as the old tagline for that site goes: “Pop Culture in its Stupid Face”.

I have no idea, but if you look at how the “serious” part of the Forums are labeled…

I know I asked for moderation of threads I started several times, and @submessenger obliged me at his discretion.

Because Rabbit showed and and started taking pellet-dumps.

When we rebooted things we wanted to get a better sense of how much we needed to make hard policies, if at all; the preference being none if possible.

This should be a discussion in the Contributing Members group, to be honest.

Sure, move it there.

They weaponized it, with help from Lenin’s ghost.
