Nah, I was wrong, sorry.
My apologies, then, and welcome to the boards.
As to the problem in your post, hell yeah, I don’t go back to places where people start to lecture me about teh deadly.

Im getting scared of ever learning grappling from what I read on this forums Im just going to get my leg broken by some n00b on my first day or my back broken by a n00b throw
It really isn’t as bad as all that. You only get the horror stories because they’re the ones that stick out in people’s memories. In every experience I’ve ever had with grappling, noobs don’t get paired with other noobs for exactly this reason, and generally work with experienced people until they demonstrate enough control for the higher ranks to feel comfortable turning them loose on each other without needing constant supervision. In fact, that goes for pretty much anything I’ve trained in with a halfway-responsible instructor.
Good to know Neo Sigma and thanks for the info
Last semi-derail there is all this bad etiquette in grappling (leg locks, ankle locks etc) because there is a higher chance for n00bs to cause great injuries more than n00bs in striking?

Remember people, keep it on topic in the techniques forums. If you’re not discussing technique, you’re screwing up.
