Awesome, I will use some of this until i can gain more weight… haha I’m not a small person at 6’2’’ but I’m at least 30-50lbs lighter than the majority of the class.
As a little (and older) guy I found this hugely helpful. When I’m struggling with a bigger and younger white belt I often feel that as a blue belt I should be able to deal with them easily. If I don’t I sometimes feel as if I’m wasting my time or letting the team down.
I will persevere but it’s nice to know that it’s not just me that has a hard time.
Excised from: Tips for Female Grapplers: - when a (small) girl meets a (big) boy - - No BS MMA and Martial Arts
Rudeness is no substitute for wit…whatever your excuse.
The advanced technique fora are highly moderated areas. In the stickie I wrote, I specifically mention that general comments are not permissible. Here it is for reference: Read this before posting in this forum - No BS MMA and Martial Arts
Here’s the part that applies to you,
General comments like, “I’m just a beginner in grappling, but I too find the spider guard useful.”, or “Good job!” will not be tolerated as they are of no value to knowledgeable grapplers.
I find it amusing when members chastise me for their failure to know the rules of the forum they are posting in.
I think my previous statement stands.
Well thank you then, it is always good to know who the morons are that cant comprehend simple words.
Now for a bit of advice, SHUT THE FUCK UP (sorry to steal your thunder…and verbiage Der)
Here, I went and got you something. You can add this to your signature:
Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.
Well here we are again. Lets put this is context for the idiots:
Imagine - you are commenting on the usefulness of someone’s contribution in a conversation and then someone from another part of the room interupts, shouts at you to shut up and ejects you from the room. This is a conversation they are not taking part in but thought they would police anyway.
I have now lost the opportunity to communicate with someone in a similiar situation to myself in their bjj training because someone else took umbrage to what I said. When you have removed your self appointed, self righteous head from up your ass you may at least conceed I have a point in terms of simple, civil politeness.

Imagine there was a moron that thought he was immune to the rules that are posted for EVERYONE to see. Then, once the rules have been pointed out to said moron, he continues to argue even though the rules are quite clear…wait are morons able to imagine “abstract” concepts?
Be sure to add that quote to your sig btw.
careful, thinking seem to hurt you.
Hey, at least I give it a try…

Seems you can’t do it at all carefully or wildly.
No you don’t. I was hinting at the irony i know find myself experiencing given my point. You know the one about someone butting in on someone else’s conversation.
Still, this is more amusing than the work I’m supposed to be doing, so how’s it with you? Is Zapruder your real name? Were you in Dallas in 63?
“Seems you can’t do it at all carefully or wildly.”
This makes no sense in any language. Really guys this is becoming weird. Like, why do you care so much? I made my point you didn’t like it. End of. Goodbye.

[/quote]This is a webforum, unless you are using the private message system, there is no butting in to a conversation.

Awe…and the punchline leaves the building

Now, this is ironic.
End of. Goodbye.

Assume for a moment that you are standing in a forum hall and there is a moderated debate going on at the front. You are not a participant in the debate. One of the participants makes a good point with which you agree and you shout out something of an encouraging nature. Would expect the moderator of the debate to shush you or not?
I would expect to be shushed.
The technique forums are moderated in the same manner. The participants are the people actually discussing the technical merits of the subject. The audience is you. Please do not shout randomly at the participants, it makes it hard for other interested parties to follow the discussion.
I assume you are referring to the title of the infraction, “Shitposting in a serious discussion”. The moderators have a set number of options to choose from in the infraction menu, and, for better or worse, that one most closely described your post.
However, I’d like to point out that if you had followed the rules of the forum you posted in, we wouldn’t be having this discussion.
