I came across this today during my lunch break, the article itself says that Enzo has some experience in BJJ and Muay Thai.

I have to say that I am a little surprised at the UFC representatives negative take on this considering how much it would raise the profile of MMA in the UK.

I also feel that (considering how much money was made on Kimbo) who Enzo would tool that some of the other promotions are bound to jump on this.

I’m reminded that David Haye said something similar some weeks ago.

That said, and noting the qualification by the spokeman quoted by the Beeb, that Enzo would lack the suitable tools re takedowns etc, it occurs that the BJ Penn v Shrek was a purist boxing match. As the Americans say, “Go Figure”…
