Highly intelligent response:
Staple crotch of gi pants to junk before workout.
Use many heavy-gauge staples so that pants stay on if one or two get yanked from junk during randori.
After workout, simply yank rest of staples out.
Gi pants should fall to ankles automatically (you do have gravity where you live, don’t you?).
Staples and staple-gun are cheap and widely available–no more need to worry about strings.
