This is for serious striking discussion. Take the trolling elsewhere.

For what type of individual?
And just out of curiousity why dim mak?

lol

lol the dim mak thing is just a joke although i would like to learn. it does it actually work? but anyways, i would like to combine the best all around striking martial art with the best all around grappling martial art, this is just a thought. but i would still like to know which is the best all around striking and grappling art

I’d like to keep an eye on this thread.

As above. Judo is pretty good as well.

yeah striking would be boxing, muay thai, kyokushin, kickboxing.

grappling would be BJJ, wrasslin, judo.

Regarding dim mak, try to answer your own question on this. All martial arts must follow the same laws, with no exceptions. These laws are best learned by studying physics, anatomy, and physiology. Some skeptical inquiry using reason and critical thinking are the tools needed to approach this question. Good luck! BTW, nothing here is intended as sarcastic, mean spirited, or trolling.

Best art for? Kicking ass? Gun-Do

whats the easiest and most effecitive fighting style to learn?

whats the easiest and most effecitive fighting style to learn?

I wouldnt say EASY but rather SIMPLE. Krav Maga.

It is the one that you take to the best and has a good track record. Try many and see what happens.

Synonym.

Boxing.

Well, not easy… None of the good ones are easy, simplest maybe.

I don’t know what would be the easiest for you to learn. How will have to try different ones for yourself in order to form an honest opinion. It all depends what you want to learn MA’s for. What are your personal goals for yourself ? Someone mentioned boxing, not easy but simple along with Krav and half a dozen other MAS you can learn.

I’d deffinately say boxing for beginners, to get some strength, reflexes and then go on from there. Krav Maga is good as far as I know, but is meant for effectiveness, rather than flashy fighting. Meant for militay use basically (as far as I know). I’ve heard good things about russian sambo and BJJ, MMA of course. For starters, I think you can’t go wrong with boxing. Depends on the person, what you want. If you’re thinking about killing someone, for instance, you don’t need much more than a knife. If you’re into martial arts for recreation, then do anything that’s good for you, ranging from Yoga to Karate. If you’re into serious fighting- boxing, followed by other more advanced martial arts.

boxing, Rugby (seriously), any art that has a sport derivative. Its more the mindset than the style IMO and working under pressure does alot more than rote techniques learned in a dojo setting.
