Do websites change after 6 years? I don't care, I'll post anyway.

TKD at Ballys is excellent for the current special of $39/month, 3x per week w/o any contract. Regular price is $10 more.

It’s WTF TKD. What you see is what you get. There’s no surprises. WTF TKD is WTF TKD and has always operated in similar fashion for decades. Ballys’ instructors seems very qualified.

My TKD background does help my MT kicks. Obviously if you want to learn how to fight ASAP and effectively, WTF TKD is not the best route. However, not everyone wants to fight. If I had kids and couldn’t afford $130-180/month + 1yr contract for BJJ, then this $39/mo. deal at Ballys would be my choice. I can also work out at the same club while instead of waiting for my kid.

Ballys does not guarantee a black belt after “3 years”. It clearly states, “approximately”. People often asks about how long it takes to get a BB in BJJ also, and they’d usually get an answer of approximately 8-10 years. This is nothing new nor unusual. TKD is not BJJ nor is TKD obligated to operate in the same manner as BJJ schools under the BJJ Federation in Brazil or w/e.

Ballys is mainly a mainstream fitness operation. It is not looking to train MMA fighters. They don’t even allow sparring in their gyms even though some locations have a boxing ring. Probably due to insurance & liability reasons.

What the hell are you on about noob? Look at the last time this thread was posted in.

glorious necro.
