Not really. Not when you’re at a good Jiu-Jitsu school. My friend Tracey has been a blue belt since like 97, and not because he showed up once a week and got nothing done.
As for Aeosapian, I’ll give a nod to anyone who commits to the pain, gruel, and injuries you suffer through when hanging in long enough to be promoted to BB.

Thats not true in good bjj schools and judo schools. belts dont matter much anyways. I’m sure aeso had to do lots of competitions nad win some to get his BB, if not, accomplished a feat that equals that.

I disagree Rudy. If you or someone else posted a congratulatory thread about you achieving something worthwhile, I would do the same thing for you. If someone posted and it quickly turned into a negative derail, I’d Trollshido that too. In fact, I seem to recall I moderated your Save Haiti thread in just such a manner.
Unfortunately with your history on this site, there’s no way for you to post in that thread without half the members here feeling the need to respond to you negatively. That’s fine, but that kind of derail has no place in Aesopian’s congratulatory thread.
As I said in the original thread, you, or anyone else here, is free to create a separate anti-Aesopian thread.
