second, the soviet union fell a long time ago, and there is no reason to keep the trade embargo on cuba for the last 25 years at all, besides that cuba is one of the last communist countries left.

The reasons the embargo still exists is mired deep in American politics and has multiple different cooks feeding it and is beyond the scope of this fucking thread.
i do however know that cuba, while being far behind western countries, its not that bad if you compare it to other countries in the region(haiti, guatemala, bolivia), or other countries in similiar situations(myanmar, cambodia etc)

Fair enough, but most of the people I who I know that smoke cigars with aren’t pretentious. The smoke shop I buy from is 70% blue collar as far as clientele goes and we sit around inside the shop smoking, watching SportsCenter and bullshitting about hunting and fishing. Not everyone who smokes a cigar is some rich jackass who is bragging about his house in Boca or whatever.
