Christopher Dorner vs the LAPD
I actually think it’s far more likely that some idiot blogger decided he’d push an agenda by modifying the manifesto and the media just ran with that version because it mentions people in the media. Reason being, the first place I saw that version was on the website of a filmmaker looking for funds for anti-gun documentaries. But whatever, that’s about all the evidence I’ve got.

And yes, mojo23 is my real name as specified on my long-form birth certificate.
Face it - he’s a left wing terrorist. Like Hedgehogey with a gun and a sun tan.
Mojo23 (if that really is your name) - I’m not at all interested in having an AboveTopSecret discussion about the federal government killing cops and making this guy a patsy and planting fake documents, or any of that shit.
So you got your copy of the manifesto from the Gov’t?
So you got your copy of the manifesto from the Gov’t?
I got my copy of the manifesto from Wounded Ronin, whom I have found to be a reliable source for all things murder.
Face it - he’s a left wing terrorist. Like Hedgehogey with a gun and a sun tan.
That he may be, but that doesn’t make the manifesto unedited. Also, left-wing terrorists are rarely anti-gun. Don’t think Carlos the Jackal or the Baader-Meinhof gang were going to voice support for assault weapons bans.

Anyway, to spare us a whole lot of going back and forth over nothing, I’ll just leave this here. It’s the version of the manifesto that was released by Clearchannel before the current version going around. It outlines all his beefs with the LAPD and how he plans to murder them all, and that’s about it. To me, it’s more consistent with someone currently embarked on a shooting spree to murder the whole of the LAPD. However, I can’t prove that it’s the “real” one.

Nice job breaking it, heroes.
Nice job breaking it, heroes.
Yeah, I was talking about that with my father-in-law the day it happened. We noticed that they showed the truck, but didn’t report or whether or not anyone had been shot. That’s a pretty nice fuck up by the LAPD.

I didn’t read the manifesto. I really don’t care what it says, other than the fact that there is one.

I think the media is overplaying the well trained Rambo on the loose meme. “Well Trained”…ehhh.

A Navy Rifle Marksman’s Badge and Pistol Expert aint all that. The guy wasn’t a SEAL…

All he has going for him is initiative. It’s easy to look like a “trained killer” when nobody knows you are coming and you ambush unexpectant targets.

And to top it all he was a Commissioned Officer in the Naval Reserves. So his most lethal military expertise was probably with a pen. :stuck_out_tongue:

Did you consider the possibility that the guy wrote more than one letter? Multiple news agencies get ahold of a letter and bam, “We’ve got the MANIFESTO!!!111. More news at 11:00” They don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

Maybe there’s more detail out there this morning about the real scoop on the letters. I honestly don’t give a shit enough to check.

Soon to be a dead ass motherfucker after wounding a couple more cops. Pretty much the way I thought it would go. He started moving and got his ass caught. So long, bitch.

How many of these things resolve.

I’m predicting either a negotiated surrender or a sniper shot.

Re: Christopher Dorner vs the LAPD

CNN just reported one of the two deputies that were in the initial gun battle has passed.

I’m kinda interested in reading a comparative study of the manifestos floating around.

Supposedly the cabin is on fire.

Sounds like he’s probably dead. They’ll roast marshmallows all night and dig his teeth out of the ashes around lunchtime tomorrow.

If he didn’t figure out a way to get through the perimeter and run off into the woods.
Early indications would seem to suggest he didn’t:

From your link:

LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith Tuesday night said that despite earlier reports, Christopher Dorner’s body has not been recovered from a burned out cabin where he was holed up during a deadly shootout with authorities earlier today.

They pulled a body out…

Looks like my reliable information/first to post gamble didn’t pay out then.

Plays music…

Another one bites the dust.

Sucks that another officer died, but glad he finally went down and it’s over. Unless of course, he is hudini and that body is not his. I doubt it though. Looks like he didn’t have everything planned out quit as good as it looked at first.
