Bullshido vs Sherdog or UG

Only with more tears.

almost perfect. it’s just got a little too much color. then you just need to be sponsored by Twilight.

Pshaw, everyone knows there are no real fighters on MySpace.

Unfortunately I was primarily going for blacklight reactive/glow in the dark (both the fishnets and the arm warmers really light up in black light, it’s pretty slick) so I think it might have thrown off the goth/emo thing a bit. But I did get the skirt and top at hot topic so I think that should count for something.

Anyways, M Tri and Coffeefan and I all originally encountered eachother in various martial arts groups in myspace like 4 years ago.

M-Tri used to be a ninja, for real. There was also this other ninja that I used to have civilized but vehement disagreements with. Eventually he came around to my way of seeing things and tried a BJJ class, got hooked and became a hardcore BJJ nutrider for at least a while.

So, I have been talking to my work supervisors, and there is some red tape that I have to go through. I work for the government and there is always red tape. I have to turn in a list of sponsors for the event to make sure there is no conflict of interest. I also can not disclose publicly who I work for. I need a list of items that will be provided by sponsors, and some other stuff that I will have to work on.

So is there any way I can find out a list of sponsors. Also, what is the date that I have to verify that I can fight by? And do I need to get a license to fight in that state? Do I need to provide a physical, blood test, that kind of stuff?

Sorry to bombard you with questions. But this red tape could take a little while because I need to get authorizations through different levels of the chain of comand.

Thanks.

Hey bro,

We’re sponsoring you with shorts :). Hope this helps :). DreamerMMA should have a full list of sponsors, I think.

Cheers,

Nick

What are timeframe details? I mean, when do we need results of physicals/blood tests in by, and when do we have to have registration fees paid by?

Diesel: Rupture is the only company on board for the event so far, I haven’t had a chance to chase more down but as I confirm them I will update you guys on this thread.

Try to have everything ready by 2 weeks out.

Also, Rupture could probably answer the question about blood tests and what not better than I.

I actually don’t think they are required for ammy’s in Nevada but we could make an agreement to do them if everyone feels that it’s prudent.

m-tri, if you want I’ll go ahead and post your info on the UG and see if you get a bite.

Just let me know what team you want.

Call me a paranoid hypochondriac, but I need whomever I’m fighting to be tested. I just don’t leave that stuff up to chance.

EDIT: Are the blood tests we’re talking about for communicable diseases or prohibited substances?

Not at all man, I was about to wish all the fighters luck in their goal of obtaining new diseases.

Edit: I’m not funny today.

i would be very surprised if a communicable disease blood test wasn’t required.

I don’t know anything about blood testing and such, but I would be VERY surprised if it wasn’t required. If this is a sanctioned Amateur competition, blood tests should be required, I think.

Dan, this will be a question for Barry and Jeff, as they run the Event. Omega will probably have some knowledge here as well.

Cheers,

Nick

There’s no blood testing for registration although there will be a doctor’s exam.

wow, really? They don’t require and HIV and Hep test?

Agreed I am not fighting unless blood work has been done. I have mine done, so this side of the equation will not be an issue.

William Vandry.

Yeah, I definately want blood testing to be done. I don’t want to be paranoid but the main reason I haven’t done any AMMA here is because they had a big stink about a guy that was fighting in Alabama that got a couple people infected with Hep C. I don’t really want to pay the bills for that for the rest of my life.

And thanks for the info! I’ll keep checking for updated lists.

Exactly. I will be providing a blood test, and I demand my opponent do the same. Call me whatever you want, but fuck getting AIDs.

Fair enough, since you feel this way I’ll require all your opponents to be blood tested to be on the UGGP against you guys.

I will talk to Barry and Jeff too, this is an understandable concern.
