BJJ is too obessed with rolling. In that regard I think BJJ is flawed. The idea that you have to roll on the ground with someone, get him into certain set positions within the goals of system and then hopefuly find an exposed limb to lock is flawed.
It works with the inexperianced yes, but an experianced guy will just stall you, stopping your flow completely. In comparison Lancashire wrestling it has no clearly set goals or postions that you have to aspire to, heck you dont even have to roll on the ground. Just take him down and lock him right off the bat. Its much more direct more straight to the point. But I agree a less technical game then BJJ.
I dunno if you get me but these guys dont roll, counter and check with you in the traditional sense, they just go straight for sumbissions. Thats all that they are concerned with.
