Sorry to revive the thread. I looked around the forums for a bit to find an answer to this and didn’t find a topic relating to this gym other than this one.

I know it was a couple of years ago, but I’m really curious about your feedback. Did you end up going?

While you were tooling around, you should have read the rules. This area is only for on-topic posts that add value or help further an investigation.
I thought it was on-topic. That’s my bust. I apologize.
At any rate, I’ll be going to San Angelo to investigate this myself next week. I briefly trained at Gracie Barra while I was stationed in Camp Pendleton. When I moved to Monterey, CA, Daniel Thomas was there as an amazing teacher. That said, I can use my experience from them to compare the quality of instruction and BJJ of Baker and his students.
I just figured since this hasn’t been settled, I’d really like to at least get the knowledge out there, considering everybody who had trained under Daniel Thomas coming from DLI to Goodfellow Air Force Base might or might not have a choice whether or not to waste their time at a potential McDojo at San Angelo, TX. There are a lot of very young men and women who go that route in terms of a Permanent Change of Station, and I just don’t want them getting screwed.
