That sort of thing happened to me for a while too. Im home trained, and for a while 2nd Dan kempo black belts tossed me around. But the good thing in all of it I realized was I was getting better by fighting people better than me. Now, I stay even with them most of the time and am much better because of how much of a beating I took. If that makes sense haha

I though he said “I would no more kick a man in the head than I would punch him in the foot” In other words cautioning against fancy high kicks.
