We should just have a style called Floridian Martial Arts. You can be a black belt if you have tried surfing (but used a boogie board bought from circle K), tried skim boarding (but used a board bought from same circle K), got beat up at a beach bar after drinking too many margaritas on the beach, and look like a lobster because you thought your skin doesn’t burn it only tans.

I know for a fact this guy is a fake Black Belt. I used to own Ultimate MMA. He went from Purple Belt Then Gave himself a Brown Belt from his cousin supposedly then a Black Belt within 2 months. Must have been the fast track over the mail BJJ course. He then left the academy once the jig was up and everyone knew he was a fraud. I demanded proof of these out of the blue promotions with no luck. He did me a huge favor by leaving so I wouldn’t have to fire him. With plans of grandeur I told him " It’s not as easy as you think". You can’t just throw on a Black Belt and think you can open school. He must have gotten a business degree through the mail too. lol. Knowing the outcome his school was a major disaster with incidents ranging from threatening parents and students to begging students for money to pay the bills. I wish him the best but some of us who have earned our instructor ship find it insulting as well as embarrassing. Specially in BJJ where Blue Belts can take up to 2-3 years and Black Belts 10-15 years. The sad part is he had a lot of young kids fooled and their hard work goes all down the toilet since their ranking doesn’t mean a thing and is not valid anywhere. Like I always said " If it doesn’t come out in the wash it comes out it the rinse “. You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can’t fool them all. He is not welcome at any Academy in Florida as he is banned from many schools which my friends own and is looked at as a fraud and a fake Black Belt. As one school owner said to me " he is Blue Belt level on his best day”. I tried to have him test foe his belts to at least give him some legitimacy but he wouldn’t hear of it obviously since he would not even come close to passing. As a proud legitimate BJJ Blue Belt Holder, it took me four years but I earned it. He tried to give me a Blue Belt but I threw it in the trash as I did not want to disgrace myself by wearing a false title. I am a JKD Instructor and have been training in JKD for 17 years. My progress can be traced to first day I started training and I’m proud of that. Can you say that your title has any significance? I think not. We tried to help him but his ego got the best of him and now there is no turning back. Good luck with with all that mess. I tried to tell you now even the ones who believed you have turned their backs on you. Hope you got what you wanted. Parents and students make sure you do your research when choosing an Academy for your children or yourselves. Your paying good money to train with a certified professional and thats what you should get. You wouldn’t have the janitor at the hospital operate on you would you? I didn’t think so. All Academies in the south Florida area feel the same as I and they all stand behind me on this as one entity. This guy should be banned from teaching anywhere until he actually earns his belts!

The owner of Ultimate MMA stole from his partner, stole from his students and I. Thats why sensei andy and the rest of left Ultimate MMA. Everyone who trained there knew this and there were several problems with everyones bank accounts being stole from by the mike gimenez guy, this is why he is no longer in buisness, and sensei andy owns his own school with many students. Mike also broke his lease, his jkd is garbage and his white belts and kids tapped him out. mike is a fat slobb who never trained and only ripped people off, you can ask the landlord of his building in palm beach. all of his students and kids won first place in grappling tournaments, his son has won NAGA EXPERT 3 times in the row back to back, he has all 3 naga belts(trophies) to prove it. People that talk shit are jealous of him and his 2 boys, and ive seen it first hand. they only put stuff up on the internet so people want come to his school because they are jealous and they try to steal his students. see you at Naga where we will not have a single point scored on us from you or any other of you fake bitches, thats even if you show up. talk all you want, you cant even compete with his kids, dont even think about trying to compete with him. im a student of andrew pidgeons, i competed in naga for him, it sure was nice winning 1st place,sure is nice going to an academy where they dont over charge me, his kids are awesome, NAGA Champions couple times over. ive watched a houndred people come in the door and watch his kids tap everyone out, hes an awesome teacher with awesome. if you knew any martial arts at all you would see that, hes a good family man, who doesnt do martial arts for the money, he just loves it. hes a true black belt, any one who wants to test him, lets see if u can get through one of his blue belts, you wont…
Im a student of his, i competed under him and took first place every time. i used to train with him back in the early 2000’s with reylson gracie, so that proves all this is crap.
