FANTASTIC card!
One FC had me charmed before, but now, consider me a fan.
Poor Jens Pulver, though. If his pain was for real, that other guy needs to get a fucking suspension.

Yes. No. Don’t say stupid shit, please.
Nah. That nutshot was damn premidated murder.
Now, Pulver, not stupid, probably decided it was time to end this soccer player style, to advance to the next round of the Bantamweight (?) tournament without further injuries. Like, not saying he “dove”, but really, biting the towel?!
I’d like to see the a better replay of that shot, though, because if Zhao really simply got frustrated and upkicked Pulver in jingles, he needs to get the fuck banned.
Ballzy action starts at 13:30.
Two consecutive groin shots, the second one with Pulver’s legs behind his shoulders.
That wasn’t accidental.

No, it was accidental. He was doing a combo and in the heat of the moment, he didn’t quite aim the kick. You can see how he doesn’t immediately realize it. These things happen. Just cause it ended so severely, doesn’t make it intentional.

The guy was stunned with pain spasms and you’re saying he was working it for a DQ win, cause he was biting a towel…
That’s 2 unfounded accusations in a row and you’re immediately jumping to hang the offender. Fuck yourself, Rafe. You’re being a dumb cunt… again.
Huh? What about you stop antagonizing people for expressing opinions that are you happen not to share? I thought we were having a friendly conversation about a sports event, not that I had just farted in church.

Asshole, you just accused Zhao of intentional foul play and suggested his ban. You also just accused Pulver of playing up his injury to secure a DQ win.
Are you completely dense? Do you give your posts any forethought?
Misplaced ragefest is misplaced.
You really find it that outrageous that one watches a video of a pro fighter doing the same illegal technique twice in a row, and his opponent then acting in a way it has rarely been seen in comparable situations, and then says “okay, that looked really somewhat unreal”?
I can perfectly respect that you say we see it differently, but please, spare me the “you got to believe in pro fighter integrity”, if that is what it’s leading to.
Now, why did I suggest a ban? Because giving your opponent a possible lasting injury in MMA is, in general, not penalized, and groin shots are usually not even followed by a point deduction. So, they are a great tool to reboot the fight from time to time. And, while most injuries in MMA are of a passing nature, groin injuries can go really, really bad. Consequently, I think one should make sure that groin injuries should not occur. So, if I was king of One FC, I’d have qualified personnel assess the situation, and, if it turned out that this was likely an intentional move, penalize Zhao. What would be wrong about that, in your opinion?
And as to Pulver acting out on it, or not, my experience is, of course, anecdotal, but I received a groin injury in a street fight in 2008, and I didn’t spasm, or yell, or cry, and in fact, resumed to fight immediately, until the cops broke us off a few minutes later. The true fun began an hour later, at the hospital.
Neither did Mirko Crocop visibly spasm, when Alistair Overeem injured him in their Dream bout. Which is about the only time I remember a fighter having sustained a major injury through through a groin kick. Now, I sure wasn’t in Pulver pants that day, but an iron cup likely was. So, in sum, I am looking at the scene in question with somewhat resembling incredulous stupor, which I think should be legit. You know, that’s why I use “if”, and “probably”.
You, however, declare that I am absolutely, beyond any doubt, 100% wrong on both the kick and Pulver’s reaction, and that I am obviously talking out of my strawberry grotto. So, care to explain why?
If your argument is convincing, I’ll be perfectly willing agree with you.

Yes, I understand why you suggested it, but you better make damn sure that it was intentional first. Your reasoning has basically been “2 in a row and look how severe it is, he must be guilty.” and you immediately suggest to ban him.

You’ve seen enough MA by now to know that not every groin hit is the same. Some glance of, some just hurt and some drop you like a brick. Here’s another example of a nutshot ending a fight instantly (also 2 shots in a row btw, yes accidental): Giorgio Petrosyan vs Chahid Oulad El Hadj.
Groin shots happen, occasionally with severe impact.
Again, you give no motive or mention anything particular in Pulver’s reaction.

No, you retard douchebag. You’ve made 2 baseless accusations, you’re the one who needs to back it up with facts and motives.

Sorry, but this is not a base on which I am willing to dedicate you any of my time.
You might want go back here some time and reread what I wrote, and what you wrote in response. In the meantime, grow up.
