A gorillas main advantage against most creatures is pure size. Depending on the bear though, in this case the bear might actually have the size advantage, in addition to the claws and teeth and all that. I guess it depends on if you’re talking black bears, or grizzlies, or polar bears or what.

Correction. That’s why it depends on the bear. The bear could either be outweighed by a couple hundred pounds, or outweigh by several hundred. The bear’s species is a big factor.
