[QUOTE=zadar95;1473352]Dont buy the Core Combat training DVDs from Damian Ross or Carl Cestari
[INDENT] I tran in Defendo the really mean shit and I am always looking for something new or something to add to my training, I ordered(and as well sent back) The core Dvds and what a dissapointment there advanced techniques where basic then the 15 seconds on the BoB drill was pathetick. Try 2 or 3 min like where I train. Very dissapointed do not get the DvDs they suck!!! Those are the Carl Cestari and Damian Ross Dvds

hi zadar95, i found this thread you started in 2007 while googling damian ross and his training modules and i also found this video review made by some guy who bought his dvds and manuals, it’s a very recent video. //youtu.be/M3KyzlssmT4
so do you have the same dvds/manuals as this guy in the video, what do you think of his review, is it accurate or almost or nothing as good as he describes it to be. i thought of getting mr. ross’s training modules assuming the techniques were effective and advanced, not meant for beginners, but if it’s filled with useless techniques or basic things that i already know, my money will be wasted. so can you or anyone see this video review and advice me, what do you think of these modules? and are they just as good as the guy in the video describes them to be? Thanks.
I’ve seen the videos because my friend had them. Keyword “Had”. There are some useful and cool bits of information in there, but believe me this will not replace a martial art OR a fitness program. As others have stated this in no way teaches you to fight. It may give you some thing to think about how to act when confronted but thats about it. Chances are if your a male your more likely to get into a scuffle with some dude at the bar who is at least confident to kick your ass. Going mental on this dummy will not prepare you for that dude especially mentally. And trust when I say there is no secret to these DVDs just another great idea to hype things that you probably could figure out on your own. I’m pretty sure that even though I grapple with rules in class I would not hesitate to hit a man in the shnuts on the street (which is one of their tricks to ground fighting).
I say this would be a good primer for those the didn’t have an older brother or never been a fight.
This video really says it all. No offense to this guy but he would simply be rocked in any respectable sparring session AND a street fight.

If you’d bother to look at the profile of the person you’re replying too, you’d have noted that person’s last activity here was 6/28/2007 8:35am.
You’ve necro’d a 2007 thread and replied to some one who doesn’t use this site.

Thanks for your valuable and informative reply, i really appreciate it. i won’t buying these dvds after all. i just needed something extra, new, other than my training, and i thought maybe these dvds were different, but when i saw this video, it was pretty clear that he’s selling the same stuff i’ve and am training in just wrapped in a different package (and with lesser information, just designed for beginners who want to take a shortcut), i still wanted to confirm that here, on bullshido, so through google i found the thread i previously posted on. anyway, Thanks again so much for your reply. you really helped me save a whole lot of money. That’s why i love bullshido
